BEAU AND MEGAN

This has been a busy week, we're all getting ready for Beau and Megan's Wedding. Beau is the son of Ruby and Bo, Joe's brother. We're all excited and everyone has their THING to do. Mine happens to be the cake. I'm making the Wedding cake and the grooms cake. I'm excited because I've never really done a wedding cake. I finished the groom's cake last night and one of the layers. I'll post after this weekend, Everyone will be home and that's makes it extra special. I can't wait to see my boys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

10-11-08 - Denise and Vicki

Last weekend was a good one, Denise came to town for her Grandson, Brodie's Birthday he turned 2 he just happened to be born on Denise's Birthday. He's a real sweetie. For a little history on me and Denise we've been friends since the 1st grade, that's right the 1st grade that would be 42 years, can you believe that. She lived just around the corner from me, and her brother Clive is also my brother's best friend. Yes, that is really neat. We had a very busy weekend, starting Friday night we stayed over at her brother Danny's house in Kempsville, on Saturday morning we got up early and rode down to the beach, on our way we stopped by "Krispy Kreme" for some delicious "HOT TO GO" Doughnuts. Of course we talked and talked and talked some more. There's only so much you can say on the telephone. Then, we went to help make Brodie's birthday cake with Krystal, Tommy's wife, she's very sweet and nice and she's married to Tommy an he's just a sweetie. We made a Thomas the Tank cake it turned out pretty good, We then went to Chesapeake Square for our Pedicures and then off to the birthday party. All in all it was a busy weekend but spent with her made it all the more wonderful. She's a great friend who I cherish very much. Alot of things have gone on thru the years but one thing is constant and that's our Friendship. Thanks Denise for being my friend for 42 years, I love you and I cherish our Friendship.

Not much going on this week, other than we've started Peanuts at work, that's always a busy time for us. The weather is beautiful, cool and sunny. Denise is coming this weekend and I'm very excited about that. It's her birthday and Brodie's birthday, that's her grandson, he'll be 2. Also, Friday night there's an Alumni Reception for my 30th year of being out of high school, can you believe that? I can't, SOMETIMES, and I do mean SOMETIMES, I feel like I'm 18 again. lol, I'm excited to see some old friends and I did have some great ones. Hope everyone has a great week.
