Crew Reunion 2008

This past weekend, Joe and I attended the 1st Annual "CREW REUNION" This Crew reunion consists of alot of our friends from South Norfolk. We had a great time, Joe cooked a pig but it was very hot. The Trotmans were there, Les, Paula and the twins, George, Jen and their Children, slam, Karen, Ned and his family. Jeff and Diane Foster, David Evans, just alot of our old great friends. It was really great to see everyone's children as they grow up. It's amazing how time flies. Scott Fager was the DJ and he did a great job as always. I didn't take any pictures, it was hot and I was busy walking George's Baby, Evan, what a sweet little guy he was. Anyway, to finish out our weekend we spent the night with Grandma and Grandaddy and that's always nice. . Joe and I delivered flowers sunday morning all the way down to the beach and checked out Rudee Inlet. I'll enclose one of those pictures it was really pretty down there. Of course, We're fond of the beach. I'm extremely blessed. So here's to Friends, old friends, new friends and just plain friends.

VACATION - OVER

Okay, So It's back to work today, We had a really great vacation, other than hitting the dog on the way down, That was horrible and then Joe cut his leg (probably needed stitches) but he didn't want to go to the Urgent care so Nurse Vicki took care of him and might I say did a very good job. We did have a great time, Jarrin was down for 2 days and we had our sweet Noel for a whole week his very good friend from Petersburg came with him for a couple of days also, Andrew Fontaine (Fonny)? Those Petersburg boys are mighty sweet, I know my boys are making great friends to last a lifetime at their new home in Petersburg. His friend Collins from Edenton visited 2 days and that was nice. They've been friends since Middle school and I think they enjoyed their time. Mike and Sandra went with us this year again we used to go years ago together when the boys were little and always had a great time. Their son Collen came on Tuesday and Wednesday and it was good to see him. Everyone is grown up and so busy with their own lives and I'm happy that they still want to share their lives with us. Thanks guys. Sandra and Mike are great fun to be around and I love them and I'm so fortuate to have such wonderful in-laws. Damon and Carolyn were also with us for the whole week and that's the first time we've spend that much time with them, and I will say it was really nice. I also bought my first baby stuff, Carolyn is expecting on Christmas Day. Of Course I tell them We're hoping for a girl but I'm sure it will be another boy. Which is okay, Because those Josue Boys are really something special.

Vacation was nice but it's always great to come back home. I'm here back at work and that's good too. I'm very blessed to have a great job with people that I care about. So back to work. Here's to another great vacation!!!

VACATION

I decided to go back and revisit the first day of vacation. Beautiful day like most here on the outer banks. Joe's parents, my mom and her good friend Ms. lilley, Bo, Beau and Meagan and her son Keaton. We had a great time out by the pool, oh and Damon's friend Matt and his girlfriend came for the day also. We cooked flounder, shrimp, and had a little of everything. It was great and it was a wondeful day had by all. Thanks everyone for all the memories we make each day!!

VACATION

Yeah!! we finally made it. Vacation time again, this year we chose to stay closer to home and head to the beach again. We rented a cottage at MP 15.5 it was a cozy little 6 bd, 4bath cottage so we decided to invite Sandra and Mike, Damon and Carolyn, and of course our children. So far it's been wonderful, Jarrin and Sidney were here Sunday and Monday and it was such a treat. Jarrin with his wonderful smiles and laughter that makes everyone smile and Sidney, his girlfriend came with him. She's very sweet and pretty and seems to be a good fit with all of us crazy Josue's. It was sad when they had to leave. Anyway, great time so far it's about 1:30 pm so that means it's time for my nap!! Yes, I seem to need one each afternoon about this time. So until next time. THE RIVER

Sunday, Joe and I went to the beach across the river, for those of those who don't know, across the river is the Chowan River. It's a beautiful river that I've grown up on. I've spend many days waterskiing, snake hunting or just relaxing in the river. My boys loved the river growing up and enjoyed all the times they got to Jet ski, Hydro slide and ride "the Tube" those are great times with wonderful memories. Of course spending time together is the greatest. I'm learning to appreciate the little things, Spend time with those you love because "Life is Short" Always, Live, Love, Laugh!!! Thanks for all my memories, to my Mom and Dad because I was fortunate to have memories to last a lifetime and to my sweet husband and wonderful boys. I love you all!!!!!
